I am a licensed professional counselor in Washington, D.C. and Maryland, and an Associate Professor of Counseling at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. I hold master's and doctoral degrees in Counseling from The George Washington University (GWU). Over the past fifteen years, I have worked in a variety of clinical settings as both a clinician and supervisor, including on-campus counseling centers at GWU and The Catholic University of America, The Wendt Center for Loss and Healing, and my own private practice. I practice as a generalist but offer subspecialties in coping with grief, loss, trauma, and life transitions. I particularly enjoy counseling younger adults (18-45) navigating developmental changes and traumatic experiences, including university students and new parents.
