Individual counseling
Individual counseling can help reduce stress, improve self-awareness and self-esteem, and develop more productive ways of coping and communicating. I work with a diverse clientele facing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, grief, loss, sexual trauma, relationship issues, and transition to parenthood. Individual counseling can be short or long term, and sessions are typically scheduled weekly for 50 minutes, though more frequent sessions may be available.
Clinical supervision
I am a scholar-practitioner with extensive experience as a counselor educator and supervisor. I supervise master’s students on a regular basis in my academic role and also offer clinical supervision for licensed graduate counselors in Maryland and Washington, D.C. I offer clinical supervision virtually in both individual and triadic (one supervisor, two supervisees) format.
